Create a Brochure

Step back in time and create a travel brochure for ancient Greece, ancient Rome, and the Mali Empire.

Click here to download the brochure template. Save the template in your My Documents folder. Notice that there are pictures already in the template - but they are from the wrong time period! After you fill in all the information for ancient Greece, ancient Rome and the Mali Empire, you will change the pictures to reflect ancient civilizations. Use this Clip Art Tutorial to help you locate, select, and change the images in your brochure using Microsoft Word 2007.

Use the notes you should have in your notebooks (you did take notes in class, right?) to help you fill in all the required information in each section of the brochure. If you get stuck, you can use this link to find some information on ancient civilizations, or you can conduct an internet search using Ask Jeeves for Kids.
