Create A travel brochure
You have recently opened your own business. You offer tours of ocean habitats at reasonable prices. Your mission is to create a travel brochure to convince people to take your tours so you can make lots and lots of money!
You will need to do a few things to create an effective travel brochure advertising your business.
- Download the travel brochure template to the right (click the first image).
- Choose a name for your business. The default name is "Under the Sea"
- Use the information you learned in class or that you locate on the internet to describe each habitat. Use the Zoom tools (the
minus sign makes the text smaller, the plus sign makes the text larger) when you are adding text to your brochure. Remember, you are trying to convince people to pay for a tour of these habitats - use lots of descriptive adjectives!
- Set a price for each of your tours and for your package tours. (Yes, this involves a little math!)
- There are images in the template that can be changed. Use images from clipart or the internet to add "flair" to your brochure!

No phytoplankton, zooplankton, or marine life of any kind was harmed in the production of this website. Further, the ocean's ecosystem was not disturbed during the production of this travel brochure. We who visit the Under the Sea web page understand that phytoplankton produce much of the earth's oxygen and serve as the base of the ocean's ecosystem. Therefore, we pledge never to knowingly harm our good friends, the phytoplankton. We LOVE phytoplankton!
